Module 1 - Learning Mindset (value: $150)

The biggest barrier to changing careers in your 20s is the belief that you're supposed to stick with the thing you picked to "do for the rest of your life" in high school. If you are worried, deep down, that you wasted time, energy and money by making the choices that you did, you are in very good company!

In high schools, there is a lot of talk using absolutes when it comes to careers. It's not until you actually get out working that you start to question those ideas you used to have. That's why we start with exercises to help you to develop a solid mindset for moving forward with your career and learning how to leverage the career decisions you made years ago, even if you don't agree with them anymore. 

Module 2 - Self-Knowledge (value: $150)

With your outlook firmly established, we then guide you through several assessments, activities and reflections to build up your knowledge of your skills, strengths and aptitudes. There's a great chance you picked a career based on what your best subjects were in high school. Those interests and abilities make up only a fraction of everything you have to offer, and we use three videos in this module to help you uncover more about you and help you see patterns across your work, volunteering, hobbies and education that intersect into careers that will sound amazing to you.

This module will certainly help you figure out some great-fitting career choices for you, but the added bonus is that it will also help set the stage for you to communicate your value to future employers. That means more calls for interviews and more job offers with better compensation packages.

Module 3 - Career Action (value: priceless just kidding, $200)

With some ideas of where to find your next job, we get down to the nitty-gritty details of building a strategic job search plan. This module covers how to become a semi-pro schmoozer (even if the word "networking" scares the crap out of you!), how to write a killer resume and cover letter and how to nail those job interviews. We'll top it off with some tips and tools to help you stay organized and motivated through your job search. It's a doozy module, but by the time you're done with this one, you'll have all the tools you need to land the next great job and be able to navigate your career more smoothly from now on!

How long will it take me to finish everything?

Because you have 24/7 access to the content, it's really up to you. You could realistically do it all in two weeks, no problem! We give you six months' access so that you can fit it all into your busy schedule. If you need to chip away at 20 or 30 minutes a week to get there, that works too. The intention was to make this information as accessible as possible to as many people as possible.

OK, so how long will it take before I'm in my new job?

THAT is a great question, and a really hard one to answer, because there are so many contributing factors. A general rule of thumb we use in the career world is to allow 1 month for every $10K in salary you are looking to earn. For example, if you're looking to make about $60K per year, expect the full transition to take about 6 months.

What if I get stuck, or I have questions?

Your coaching session is great for that, but you can also reach us anytime by email and get a response within 24 hours! (We'll also be looking for Career Boosters' input on an online community platform that works best for most people.)

How does my career coaching session work?

After you've completed some of the activities, you'll get access to the booking link for your session. Sessions are 30 minutes in length, and based on whatever you want to talk about. Want feedback on your resume? Help with a strategy to approach an employer you'd like to work for? Practice with those interview questions that always trip you up? It's your call.

What if this doesn't work for me?

The funny thing with career services is that they aren't a one-size-fits-all approach. Not every career expert will be your cup of tea, and not every approach will fit your style. Why should you trust me?


I've been in the game for awhile. I started working in career education back in 2006 and worked my way into career advising and coaching in 2016. In that time I've worked with thousands of people, mostly aged 12 to 30, on figuring out what they want to be when they grow up, and how to get there.

I've been in your shoes myself. My first grown-up job was in environmental consulting. I was absolutely convinced that that was the right path for me in the fourth year of my geography degree program. I even paid for an extra one-year graduate program to beef up my technical skills. Then I lasted less than two years in the field because I hated it.

I'm a career nerd. I am certified as a Career Strategist with the Career Professionals of Canada and a member of the PEI Career Development Association. I also have a background in post-secondary recruiting and admissions.

My top concern is mental health. It was increasing rates of mental illness and suicide among university students that pushed me to open my own career service agency with a focus on Gen Z and young Millennials.
